Of Mice and Men – John Steinbeck *****

A truly wonderful book with plenty of hidden meanings – great for my studies on it at the time. The characters are beautifully written into the story, along with the series of events. Although this book is was written a while ago (1937, to be exact), none of the classic literary assets go out of fashion. The brief description is enough as the conversation is so riveting, especially in realising that the book takes place only over a couple of days.
